IN Amsterdam governmental organisation needed help creating an original end-of-year video on a tight deadline for its corporate partners and customers.
The client
IN Amsterdam (formerly Expatcenter Amsterdam) provides a one-stop-shop service for international newcomers in the Amsterdam Area. Since its opening in 2008, IN Amsterdam has helped companies and their highly skilled migrant employees, scientific researches, international entrepreneurs and graduates with residence and work permits, registration with the municipality, the 30% tax ruling and other official matters.
The brief
IN Amsterdam wanted to create a New Year’s video to send to its corporate partners and customers. Their goal was to convey best wishes for 2016 while communicating key messages about the ways in which customers could expect IN Amsterdam to improve and extend its services in the upcoming year.
The strategy
The budget was limited and the timeframe tight, so we brainstormed ideas that could be achievable within these constraints. After taking the time to understand their business and content needs, our team of creative professionals decided on a theme of New Year’s resolutions. This allowed IN Amsterdam to convey its 2016 plans in a friendly and approachable way.
The result
The completed video includes a series of Amsterdam residents holding up a cardboard sign featuring their own personal New Year’s resolution. It then cuts to a similar scene of IN Amsterdam staff displaying resolutions for the organisation and their services. Look out for the cat!
